Agency to target ‘big, bad and nasty’ crime
The Environment Agency plans to focus enforcement activity on the trend towards "big, bad and nasty" organised crime, according to a paper submitted to the board in May. The paper says that small firms and individuals account for most environmental crime - and reports that overall there was a 13% increase in major incidents last year.
