Major leak at Sellafield casts pall over nuclear clean-up agency
A major leak of radioactive liquor has shut down the controversial THORP reprocessing plant at Sellafield, just weeks after the site was taken over by the new Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. The leak threatens to knock a big hole in the NDA's clean-up budget - and has prompted speculation that THORP may not reopen.
