ASA raps HFC producer Daikin

A complaint that air conditioning company Daikin should not describe its HFC-based refrigerant R-410a as "ozone friendly" was upheld in May by the Advertising Standards Authority.1 However, the ASA rejected a second complaint about Daikin's claim that it "cares for the environment".
