Illegal waste company pays out £52,000 for "duping" customers

A Ramsbottom company that "duped" three paint companies into giving it their waste has been made to pay £52,000 in fines and costs. The company used a fake waste management licence to convince customers its operation was genuine. Under "duty of care" legislation, the three paint firms had already been prosecuted over the affair.
