Pressure grows for sheep dip ban
New research by the Environment Agency attributes a major decline in aquatic life in certain Welsh rivers to pollution by cypermethrin-based sheep dips - a finding likely to be replicated in other sheep farming areas. The findings strengthen the case for a ban on cypermethrin dips as part of a new national strategy being drawn up by the Agency to tackle sheep dip pollution.
