DEFRA clarifies rules on hazardous waste mixing/separation

Guidance on the mixing and separation of hazardous waste was issued by the Environment Department (DEFRA) in July.1 The guidance makes it clear that different categories of hazardous waste can be collected on the same vehicle provided they are not physically mixed together.
