Second time lucky for soil clean-up entrepreneurs?

Up to five vitrification plants could be built by a new business set up to turn contaminated soils into glass - although a previous attempt by the same team failed in the early 1990s. Vitrium Holdings hopes that the new controls on landfill and hazardous waste will make the process competitive this time round.
