Penalties total £200,000 in WRG waste case

A company owned by Paul Rackham, a founder of Waste Recycling Group, has been made to pay over £100,000 in fines and costs after pleading guilty to spreading household waste - including pieces of glass, syringes "and an entire bicycle pump" - on a Norfolk farm. WRG subsidiary Anti-Waste was made to pay a similar sum for its role in the offences.
