Energy efficiency review points to cap on suppliers

A cap and trade scheme on domestic energy suppliers, a move towards smart metering, an obligation on house builders and a national labelling scheme for consumer products have been proposed by the Energy Saving Trust as part of the Government's energy efficiency innovation review.
