EU endocrine disruptors strategy takes a step forward

The EU strategy on endocrine-disrupting chemicals has taken a step forward with the release of two research studies reviewing chemicals on the European Commission's list of potential endocrine disruptors. Of nine industrial compounds reviewed in detail, only one instance of endocrine-disrupting effects was highlighted -thyroid disruption by resorcinol. But a wide-ranging study highlighted 93 more compounds of "exposure concern".
