Chief Scientist pulls no punches on threat of climate change

"No significant scientist" now disputes that fossil fuel burning will cause serious climate change, the Government's Chief Scientist Sir David King told a Lords inquiry in March. He called for urgent action to reduce emissions, and a revival of funding for energy R&D from its current low ebb.
