Sheffield launches eco-business MBA

The University of Sheffield has launched an MBA course in Eco-Business.1 The course teaches the basic techniques for the management of industrial sustainable development. It combines management theory with practical examples from leading companies and encourages students to critically analyse different approaches.

The course comprises nine months of taught material followed by a three-month period for a research-based dissertation.

The course units include eco-accounting and finance, environmental law, environmental management and auditing systems, green marketing, corporate social responsibility and human resource management.

Applicants should have a good honours degree in any subject and at least two years' relevant work experience.
