Agency looks to beef up drive for resource efficiency under IPPC

Too little priority has been given to promoting the efficient use of resources under the integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC) regime, according to a report for the Environment Agency.1 The regulator is urged to focus efforts on sectors which are new to integrated permitting such as the food and drink industry.
