Safety fears remain over organotin exposure
A report on human exposure to organotin compounds has been slated for a second time by the EU Scientific Committee on Toxicity, Ecotoxicity and the Environment (CSTEE).1 The revised study, by UK consultants RPA, has failed to resolve uncertainties and inadequacies raised last year, and fears remain that human exposure to the chemicals may be high enough to cause health effects.
