Thames super-sewer in doubt as storm overflows kill fish

Plans for a £2 billion tunnel under the Thames tideway to catch storm overflows are now in doubt after Ministers withdrew funding for preliminary works from Thames Water's business plan. The news came as summer storms led to a massive overflow of sewage killing thousands of fish.
