UK proposes REACH amendments

The UK and Hungarian governments have jointly proposed a series of amendments to the draft REACH legislation in support of their desired "one substance, one registration" approach. Member States are due to hold public debates on their views at the competition and environment Councils in November and December. Most countries were reported to have submitted summary national impact assessments by a 12 September deadline.
