Poor start for micro-CHP field trials

Just five domestic combined heat and power (CHP) units are being tested in official field trials - a dramatic fall from initial plans to test 6,000 units. The low level of participation threatens to leave unproven manufacturers' claims for the technology's CO2 savings - and to jeopardise prospects of winning subsidies.
