House builder fined £25,000 for waste offences

One of the UK's top house builders, David Wilson Homes, part of Wilson Bowden PLC, was fined £26,000 on 15 September on two charges related to the burning of waste. The company admitted the offences before Leicester magistrates, was fined and ordered to pay costs of £1,496.
