Agency requests data on triclosan as chemicals strategy begins to bite
The Environment Agency has asked manufacturers of triclosan, a biocide commonly used in cosmetics and personal care products, to provide more information on its fate and environmental impact. The new approach marks the beginning of the implementation of the Agency's chemicals strategy.
