DWI renews guidance on 'events' and common carriage
The Drinking Water Inspectorate has revised its guidance to water companies on common carriage arrangements and on providing information on events likely to affect water supply. Both follow changes brought about by the Water Act 2003, but the DWI also remarks on continuing problems with water companies failing to provide adequate information on potential water supply incidents.
