Drinking water improves again

Another small improvement in the quality of drinking water in England and Wales in 2002 has been reported by the Drinking Water Inspectorate - marking more than a decade of continuous improvement.1 However, question marks hang over whether the Inspectorate has slackened its previously tough prosecution policy.
