Paralysis over PVC strategy hits EU eco-labelling scheme

A new EU eco-label for furniture, potentially banning the use of PVC, has been withdrawn by the European Commission because of the continuing impasse over its strategy for the plastic. Meanwhile, proposals for a radical overhaul of the eco-labelling scheme itself are back on the agenda.
