First phase of Welsh sustainability scheme gets modest marks
The first review of the Welsh Assembly's statutory sustainable development scheme was kicked off in October. The scheme has won international plaudits - but a review of its achievements over the past three years has found significant weaknesses in mechanisms for mainstreaming sustainability into the Assembly's policies, and little evidence that it is delivering change on the ground.
