£41,000 in fines for Southern Water's sewage overflows
Southern Water has been fined £41,000 for three separate incidents involving sewage overflows. Two of the incidents caused serious water pollution, killing 600 fish and wiping out aquatic life in five kilometres of watercourses, while the third flooded farmland with raw sewage.
