Commons' inquiry into water pricing

The costs of further improvements to the water environment, customers' ability to pay, and the need to balance tighter environmental controls on the water industry with investment in asset maintenance and controls on diffuse pollution sources were among the main issues in the initial sessions of the House of Commons Environment Committee's inquiry into water prices.
