Landowner and tenants sue PowerGen for crop damage from Orimulsion

PowerGen has been served with a writ alleging that emissions from its Orimulsion-fired power station at Richborough, Kent, have damaged crops on a nearby farm. The Prudential corporation, which owns the farm, and its tenant farmers are seeking "substantial" damages - and are seeking an injunction to restrain PowerGen from burning the controversial fuel at the station.
