Urban air quality "at risk" from rising diesel sales
An official advisory group has set itself on a collision course with vehicle manufacturers after warning that the continuing expansion of the diesel car fleet poses a serious threat to urban air quality.1 Its report threatens to put a stop to the boom in diesel sales if it is backed by a forthcoming review of the health effects of particulates.
