Environmental auditing profession coming of age
More than 500 individuals have been registered under the Environmental Auditors Registration Association (EARA) scheme after just 18 months - and the influx is continuing. Although an official role has yet to emerge for EARA-registered auditors, the organisation hopes to gain formal recognition to coincide with the impending implementation of the new British Standard on environmental management systems.
