PET recycling gets a push

A new organisation to promote the recycling of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) containers has been set up. PET Container Recycling Europe (PETCORE) is modelled on a US organisation which has helped to raise the PET recycling rate to 26% - five times the current European rate.
