Survey pinpoints industrial air polluters

One-quarter of local authorities say that industries controlled under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 are causing major local air quality problems, according to a survey by the National Society for Clean Air (NSCA). The main concerns are over large combustion plant, metals processes, cement packing, coal processing and quarrying.
