Scotland's sewage compliance goes from bad to worse

The compliance of Scottish sewage works with their discharge consents declined to only 67% last year while sewerage undertakers in England and Wales were reporting a much better performance. But the compliance of trade effluents with consents improved and the average level of fines imposed on polluters showed a substantial increase.
