Delay for Environment Agency

A Bill promised by the Government to allow preparations to continue for the establishment of the Environment Agency has been dropped from the current parliamentary agenda. Legislation is expected in the next session, but the delay means that the Agency will almost certainly not be operational until well into 1996.
