Medical experts call for action to curb traffic pollution

Reformulation of petrol and further measures to reduce vehicle emissions are needed to reduce health risks from air pollution, medical experts have told the House of Commons Transport Committee. Motoring organisations told MPs that catalytic converters will greatly improve air quality, but also want initiatives to identify dirty vehicles.
