Drinking water incidents show downward trend

The number of incidents affecting or threatening to affect drinking water quality reported to the Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) by water companies has shown a steady decline since 1990, according to a parliamentary answer by Environment Minister Robert Atkins.1
