MPs reject moratorium on Welsh wind farms

A moratorium on wind farms in Wales demanded by some countryside groups cannot be justified, according to the House of Commons Select Committee on Welsh Affairs.1 But its report urges extra protection against wind farms for sensitive landscapes, and stricter controls on noise and electromagnetic interference from turbines.
