Northern Ireland catches up on drinking water, chemicals

Statutory effect has finally been given in Northern Ireland to the 1980 EC Directive on drinking water quality. New rules have also been introduced in the Province to implement several EC Directives restricting the marketing and use of dangerous chemicals.
