Draft IPC guides for textile works, di-isocyanates

HM Inspectorate of Pollution (HMIP) has issued the first drafts of its guidance for textile treatment, di-isocyanate manufacture and the production of polyurethane foams using toluene di-isocyanate (TDI).1 Operators of existing processes will have to apply for authorisation under integrated pollution control (IPC) by 31 January 1996.
