Stream wildlife wiped out by Bayer insecticide

Carbofuran, a widely used agricultural insecticide, can be washed out of the soil in quantities sufficient to kill aquatic life, a study by scientists from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAFF) has shown.1 The findings suggest that the product's approval should be amended.
