Another backward step for recycled newsprint

For the second year in succession, the proportion of waste paper consumed in UK newsprint production has fallen as usage rates have failed to keep up with rising newspaper sales. The decline is putting the achievement of the newspaper publishers' recycling target in jeopardy - although the completion of a new recycled paper mill in Kent next year should help to turn the tide.
