Eco-labelling criteria adopted, but scheme remains shaky

Eco-labelling criteria for soil improvers and tissue products have finally been adopted by the European Commission in spite of an eleventh-hour bid by its Industry Directorate to stall the process once again. The move should bring eco-labelled soil improvers into the shops within a few months, but tissues producers look set to boycott the scheme.
