Coal Products clocks up record 75 IPC offences
Coal Products Ltd (CPL), the soon to be privatised smokeless fuel subsidiary of British Coal, has been ordered to pay £32,500 in fines and costs for a record 75 breaches of an integrated pollution control (IPC) authorisation at its Cwm coking works near Pontypridd in south Wales.
