Catalyst for chlorinated VOCs competes with incineration
German chemical manufacturer Hoechst has developed a catalytic oxidation system which is claimed to be particularly effective for the destruction of chlorinated volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The technology is claimed to be cheaper and more effective than incineration.
