  • The UK's last liquid dumping operation at sea ended in December when Sterling Organics brought onstream a wet air oxidation plant to handle 40,000 tonnes of paracetamol waste from its Dudley plant in Northumberland, previously dumped in the North Sea (ENDS Report 203, pp 7-8).
