  • The Atmospheric Process Section of AEA Environment & Energy has been awarded a contract to set up and run a network of automatic hydrocarbon monitoring stations, costing £2.5 million over three years. The work is part of the Department of the Environment's enhanced urban air monitoring initiative. An existing site at Teesside will be joined by stations in Belfast, Edinburgh, London, Birmingham and Cardiff.
