MPs to look at energy efficiency
The House of Commons Environment Committee begins a new inquiry into energy efficiency in May. The investigation is particularly timely in the light of the major role envisaged for energy conservation in the domestic sector in the Government's emerging strategy for controlling the UK's carbon dioxide emissions.
