New powers used in Yorkshire to pursue waste offenders

New offence provisions created by the Environmental Protection Act 1990 have been used successfully by West Yorkshire Waste Regulation Authority (WYWRA) in two prosecutions - one of which resulted in an unusually high fine against a landfill operator.
