  • A new technique for monitoring the movement and dispersal of industrial pollution in estuaries and coastal zones will be installed by BP Chemicals at its Salt End plant on the Humber Estuary. The modelling technology has been developed by British Marine Technology and follows on from an extensive research programme into the geochemical cycling of pollutants in such regions with funding from the Department of Trade and Industry.
