Bolsover dioxin victims accept £200,000 from Coalite

In the latest twist in the Bolsover dioxin saga, Coalite Chemicals has paid an out-of-court settlement to three farmers who were unable to sell dioxin-contaminated produce for over a year. HM Inspectorate of Pollution (HMIP) has come under fire for sitting on a report which, claims the National Farmers Union (NFU), could have greatly strengthened the case against the company.
