NRA reports bright outlook for Humber estuary
A steady improvement in the quality of the Humber estuary by the end of the century is being predicted by the National Rivers Authority (NRA). The benefits will be achieved by refurbishments of sewage works and better treatment of in-dustrial effluents by dischargers such as Courtaulds Fibres.
