"Green" fuel for buses increases particulate emissions
A trial with a diesel substitute billed by a bus company as "a major step in the quest for a 'greener' future" has ended in disappointment. Emission tests during the four-month project showed that the biggest change was an average 80% increase in particulate emissions from a bus running on biodiesel as compared with conventional diesel.
